CELEBRATION AT STEMPLE CREEK RANCH
A vintage garden disco party where wildflowers met sparkle and love lit up the dance floor
When Addie and Max began planning their wedding, they knew they wanted a day that was vibrant, joyful, and completely true to them. Their vision? A garden disco party that was vintage-inspired, color-forward, and full of personal touches that made the celebration feel like an extension of their own creative spirit. Set against the laid-back beauty of Stemple Creek Ranch, the vibe was effortlessly cool, retro, and full of sparkle.
Tucked away in the coastal hills of Northern California, Stemple Creek Ranch offered the ideal canvas for Addie and Max’s vibrant vision. With golden grasses swaying in the breeze and a sunset that melted into the horizon, the ranch radiated relaxed elegance. As guests arrived, they were greeted by playful vintage details, colorful accents, and the palpable buzz of an unforgettable night about to begin.

Inspired by ‘70s color-blocking, vintage garden parties, and wildflower fields, the visual design was nothing short of electric. Three Summer Days Events brought the florals to life in a palette of peaches, corals, thistle lavender, saffron, and pops of cornflower blue, grounded by creamy neutrals and organic greenery for movement and contrast.
The tables were dressed with rainbow glassware and bud vases, all sourced by the couple themselves. Thrifted vintage pieces added charm and individuality to every tablescape, while a record wall seating chart brought in that funky disco energy. The entire aesthetic struck the perfect balance: vibrant yet organic, playful but elevated.

The ceremony took place under an open sky, surrounded by nature and close-knit family and friends. After heartfelt vows, the celebration shifted into high gear, because this wasn’t just a wedding, it was a party.
With Sweet Plot setting the tone and Ali Rybczyk of Le Feels Studio adding a live-art experience, the evening became immersive and unforgettable. Guests were invited to have custom portraits painted on-site, each a colorful, fashion-style keepsake to take home. Whether posing for a photo or sitting for a five-minute session, everyone left with a piece of the night made just for them. Meanwhile, Ali also began a custom painting of the ceremony, which would later be completed and sent to the couple as a lasting heirloom.
As the sun dipped behind the hills, guests gathered for a family-style feast by Park Avenue Catering. The dinner kicked off with beautifully plated hors d’oeuvres: ahi tartare, crispy pork belly, summer corn arancini, and veggie rolls with pickled accents, followed by a family style dinner with platters of grilled tri tip with salsa verde, lemony salmon with romesco, farfalle pasta, smashed fingerling potatoes, and lemon-roasted vegetables. A kale Caesar and warm bread completed the rustic, comforting spread.
Later, guests made their way to a dessert station featuring key lime meringues, vanilla éclairs, crème brûlée with raspberries, and of course, a custom cake by A Little Luster that served as both centerpiece and sweet finale.
